Regional Secretary Dewa Made Indra Attends the Puri Agung Operation Troop Ceremony

DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Bali Province Regional Secretary (Sekda) Dewa Made Indra representing The Acting Governor of Bali attended the Puri Agung Operation Troop Ceremony at the Puputan Margarana Niti Mandala Renon Field, Denpasar, Wednesday ( May 15, 2024) .
This operation was held to oversee the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali on 18-25 May 2024. In his address read by Pangkogabwilhan II, Vice Marshal TNI M. Khairil Lubis as Chairman of the Apel, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto stated that Indonesia plays a role as an agent of change in promoting innovative and sustainable solutions to water challenges at global, regional and global levels.
"We should be proud to have international trust as hosts, therefore this activity must run well, in an orderly, safe and smooth manner. To make this happen, of course it needs to be supported by excellent security, both security on the roads, accommodation and other places that will be held. visited by state guests," the Commander in Chief said in his message.
Furthermore, Commander Agus Subiyanto said that more than 14,000 combined personnel, both TNI soldiers and Polri members, were supported by the relevant government agencies for this security. "Of course, the aim is to be able to prevent every threat. Therefore, each personnel must understand their respective roles and functions in a professional manner. Each personnel must be sensitive to developments in the situation and always maintain preparedness and be responsive to any threats or disturbances that may arise. Show integrity and synergy between agencies, by prioritizing working together so that tasks run smoothly without obstacles or disturbances because the dignity of the country is at stake if undesirable things happen," the Commander requested.
The National Police Chief also expressed the same thing, in his message which was read by the Chairman of the POLRI Kabaharkam Call, Commissioner General Pol. Dr. H. Mohammad Fadil Imran M.Si, that climate change makes it difficult to provide quality and sustainable water. Therefore, in the midst of increasing demand for water which continues to grow in line with current population and industrial growth, the sustainability of water resources has become an important issue of global concern. "Initiated by the World Water Council, WWF is on the agenda for the largest international meeting and discusses the existence of forests and management of natural resources. So we must secure the entire series of activities," the National Police Chief. Komjen Fadil said. He added that 43 heads of state were planned to attend WWF. In addition, there are 4 national organizations and 194 state ministers, including representatives of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. "The TNI has formed an integrated VVIP joint command, we at the National Police have formed a Centralized Police Operation with the code name Puri Agung 2024 to secure VVIP guests who join Paspampres and of course VVIP guests," he explained..
