DENPASAR, Balitopnews.com - Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra officially opened the 2024 Bali Provincial Government Performance Accountability Evaluation (AKIP), at The Wiswa Sabha Building, Bali Governor's Office on Thursday (July 18, 2024)
On this occasion, Regional Secretary Dewa Indra welcomed the Evaluation team from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, which will evaluate AKIP in the Bali Provincial Government so that with a performance evaluation the Regional Government knows where its shortcomings are and can improve them. It was also conveyed that the 2023 AKIP evaluation had been followed up well, which then led to the region receiving several AKIP awards.
Furthermore, Regional Secretary Dewa Indra said that in accordance with the bureaucratic reform of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform which prioritizes 3 thematic issues as main issues, namely handling stunting, alleviating poverty including extreme poverty, and improving the economy including controlling inflation, where it can be reported that regarding handling stunting the Bali Provincial Government is in the lowest position for stunting in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, in terms of alleviating extreme poverty, Bali also occupies the lowest poverty position in Indonesia and controlling inflation in Bali is very controlled. "If we look at macro performances, we are also relatively above the national average, our Gini ratio is 0.3 lower than the national average. "The open unemployment rate in Bali is very low and the Human Development Index in Bali is 7.8, which is higher than the national average," he said.
For this reason, Dewa Indra hopes that this AKIP evaluation can encourage Bali to improve even more so that development and bureaucratic reform in Bali can develop even more positively. Meanwhile, the Deputy Secretary for Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability and Supervision, Ministry of PAN-RB, Hidayah Azmi Nasution, said that the evaluation team went to the regions to see how far the performance progress had been made, which could then provide support. to fix what should be fixed. AKIP evaluation is part of coaching to build a better and more advanced system, especially for internal parties. This results in better service performance.
