Bali Provincial Government Wins Best National JDIH Award 2024

JAKARTA, Balitopnews.com - The Bali Provincial Government won the award as the Best Legal Documentation and Information Network Manager (JDIH) at National Level 2024. This award was given by the National Legal Development Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights at an official event at the Aston Kartika Grogol Hotel & Conference Center , Jakarta, on Thursday ( August 22, 2024).
The award was presented by the Head of the National Legal Development Agency, Prof. Widodo Ekatjahjana to the Acting Governor of Bali, represented by the Head of the Legal Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Bali Province, Ida Bagus Gede Sudarsana. At the 2024 National JDIH Management Meeting, Bali Province managed to become the best, beating other provinces in Indonesia. Previously, in 2023, Bali was ranked second nationally. Apart from Bali Province, the Denpasar City Government also won an award as the Best JDIH Manager at City Level in Indonesia. Bali Dwipa University also received an award as a private university in Bali that was successfully integrated with the JDIHN website (jdihn.go.id).
Head of the Legal Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Bali Province, Ida Bagus Gede Sudarsana, representing The Acting Governor of Bali stated that this award was a form of appreciation for the Bali Provincial Government's commitment to improving the accessibility and quality of legal documentation. "This award confirms our commitment to improving documentation of legal products and providing better access for the public," he explained.
Meanwhile, Prof. Widodo Ekatjahjana expressed his hope that this award would be a motivation for other JDIHN members to improve JDIH management in accordance with the standards regulated in PermenkumHAM No. 8 of 2019. He encourages innovation in public services, especially in the dissemination of legal documents and information to the public. The 2024 National Meeting of JDIH Managers raised the theme "Quality JDIHN, Improving Literacy and Legal Compliance" and was attended by JDIH managers from various agencies, including ministries, state institutions, regional governments and universities.
