Anticipating high incidence of traffic accidents on Denpasar – Gilimanuk High Way, particularly in the Tabanan regency. Police add trouble spot from Kediri District to Kerambitan, East Selemade, Selemdeg and West Selemadeg.
Tabanan Police Chief, AKBP Marsdianto on Thursday, December 29, 2016 said that each trouble spot will be guarded by two police officers for 24 hours. "They are responsible for monitoring the traffic, when there is congestion officer on guard in Trouble Spot will go straight down to the location," he explained. Each Trouble spots are also equipped with a mobile unit.
This effort also aims to minimize the number of traffic accidents. "Until the end of December 2016, as many as 63 people have died in traffic accidents, the number is more than the year before," he explained.
